フローラーニングの段階別に代表的なアクティビティを掲載しています。
- STAGE１カワウソ－熱意を呼び起こす－
- 遊びの要素にあふれた活発な活動です。
「子供たちの遊び心をかきたてる」「熱意を生み出す」「感覚を使う行動を行なう準備段階となる」などの効果があります。

ノーズ
ある生きもののヒントからその生きものを推測し、特徴や生態について学びます。
地球上には数多くの生きものたちが暮らし、それぞれ固有の特徴を持っています。生きもののことを学ぶ際、例えば「ゾウは『体が大きくて、鼻が長くて、アフリカやインドに住んでいて…』」というように、個々の名前から先に理解していくことが多いですが、それとは反対にヒントから生きものを探っていくことで、参加者の興味をかきたてます。

はじめまして
お互いの今までの自然体験などを紹介しあいます。
初対面の人と挨拶をする時、その人の名前や住んでいるところなどを聞きます。その人の好きな生きものや、今までにどんな自然を体験したかについては、以前からよく知っている人についても以外と知らないものです。この活動では、楽しくお互いの自然体験の紹介しあい、楽しい雰囲気を作ることができます。

動物交差点
自分の背中につけられた生きものを、周囲の人たちに質問しながらあてます。
自分の背中につけられた生きものが何かを、まわりの人たちに質問をしながらあてていく中で、様々な生きものの生態について考えるきっかけづくりができます。同時に、先入観にまどわされない素直な視点、情報の確かさを判断しながら取り入れる力、仲間への思いやりを育みます。

動物ヒントリレー
生きもののヒントを書いたカードをもとに、グループでその生きものを推理します。
断片的な生きもののヒントから、その生きものが何であるかを想像することにより、その生きものの特徴や生態を知らずのうちに学ぶことができます。また、みんなで協力して推理するとても楽しい活動です。
- STAGE２カラス－感覚をとぎすます－
- 感受性を高め、注意を集中する活動です。
「集中力の継続」「観察力が高まる」「さらに深い自然とのふれあいの準備段階となる」などの効果があります -
音いくつ
耳をすませて、まわりから聞こえてくる音をじっくりと聞き取ります。
音を集中的に聞くという時間をとると、だんだん感覚がとぎすまされてきて、小さな音まで聞こえるようになってきます。また、風の音でも遠くでうなっている音と真上で派をゆらす音の違いなどにも気づかされます。
感覚を集中していろいろな音を聞くと、心も静かになってきます。 -
カモフラージュ
道のわきに目立たないように置かれた人工物を注意深く探します。
まわりに同化する色になった（保護色）、色や形を周囲の他のものに似せたり（擬態）して、カモフラージュしている生きものが、身近なところにもたくさんいます。
敵から身を守ったり、獲物を捕らえるための、生きものの生存のための知恵と言えるでしょう。 -
フィールドビンゴ
「きのみ」や「ぬけがら」などの自然の宝ものを探すビンゴゲームです。
自然は普段私たちが想像しているよりも、はるかに多彩で不思議なものです。
様々な感覚を使って自然の中を歩き回れば、身近な自然の中でこそ、本当に大切なものをみつけることができます。 -
森の美術館
自然の中の美しいものを探し、みんなで鑑賞します。
自然の中にいると、その中の景色や場所、動植物などが一枚の絵のように美しく輝いている場面に出会うことがあります。
そこに額縁を置くだけでそこはギャラリーとなります。
みんなで自然の美しさをわかちあいましょう。
- STAGE３クマ－自然を直接体験する－
- 自然と一体感を感じる活動です。
「直接的な体験によって直感的な理解が可能になる」「自然とのつながりを深める」などの効果があります。 -
木の鼓動
聴診器で木の中から聞こえてくる音に耳を傾けます。
木の中からどんな音が聞こえてくるでしょう。
木の内部の音に耳を澄ましながら、
木の中で起きていること、木とまわりのものとの関係に思いを馳せることで、木への親近感を高めます。 -
わたしの木
一本の木と深いつながりを持ちます。
木を単なる森の一部として見るのではなく、1つの個性を持った生命体と見ることにより、参加者と木との間に深い友情をつくりだすことをねらいとしています。
人間同士でも親しい友人とは、言葉を越えて理解し合うことができるように、1本の木とも友情を持つことができるのです。 -
サウンドマップ
周囲から聞こえてくる音を「地図」で表現してみます。
人はたくさんの音に囲まれているのですが、ほとんどの音は意識を向けないので聞こえません。音に集中することで、普段は気づかない音が溢れていることを発見し、１つ１つの音を味わうことができます。
また、音を地図に表すことでその環境や生きものの様子に気づくことができます。 -
カメラゲーム
写真家とカメラがペアになって、自然の中の美しい瞬間を撮ります。
あたりまえのようにある身近な自然でも瞬間的に見ることによって、はっとするような美しさ、おもしろさがあることに気づかされます。
また、写真家とカメラの二人が、普段とは異なる視点で自然を見つめ、共感しあうことができます。
- STAGE４イルカ－感動をわかちあう－
- 理想と共感をわかちあう活動です。
「グループの絆を深める」「インスピレーションをわかちあう」「１人１人の自然体験を明確にし、力強いものとする」などの効果があります。 -
サイレントウォーク
静かに自然を見つめることによって、自然とのつながりを実感します。
おしゃべりをしないということには、２つの大事な意味があります。
１つは、生きたものたちのありのままの姿に出会う確率が高くなります。もう１つは、周囲に対して敏感になり、自然とのつながりをより強く感じられることです。静かに自然を見つめていると、目に入るものはすべて、私たち自身の心の内とつながりがあることを実感できます。 -
フォールドポエム
少し仕掛けのある詩づくりをグループで行ない、体験をわかちあいます。
詩をつくる、感じたことを発表するということが苦手な人も、ちょっと仕掛けがあることで、自然に取り組むことができます。
できあがった詩の底に流れる、各々の詩心に驚かされることでしょう。 -
ネイチャーメディテーション
理想とするナチュラリストや自然に深くかかわった人々の言葉を感じとる。
詩人、作家、教育者、科学者、思想家たちが残したものに、その人の自然に対する思いとか、見方、考え方を短く凝集して表現された言葉があります。
自然の中で一人になれる静かな場所で、そうした人たちの言葉をじっくり感じとり、その人たちの見方、感じ方で自然を見つめるという活動です。
